Try RefWorks for Easier Bibliographies

RefWorks is a web-based bibliography manager. This product is particularly helpful to those who are working on large papers (such as thesis or dissertations), many papers on different subjects, or those that simply have difficulty with citation formats. The program will allow you to import citation information straight from selected databases and files in order for you to organize your sources. This can be done by direct importing, importing from a saved text file, or manual entry for materials that are not in any electronic format. The program allows you to create folders so that your saved information can easily be accessed. It also provides a search function for both items already in the database and items that are in the FAU catalog.

When you have are finished organizing your sources, you can then create a completed bibliography in one of many accepted scholarly formats, such as APA, MLA, Turabian, or you may choose from a broad list of publication styles. There is also a Microsoft Word compatible program called Write-N-Cite that will allow you to enter endnotes and other in-text citations as you write the paper. As with any program, you will still need to verify the accuracy of your citations before you submit the paper. With RefWorks, a time-consuming and sometimes frustrating part of the paper writing process has now been made simpler.
