New Artwork Installed

Designed by Seattle artist Brad Miller, "The Speed of Time and Light" is a newly-installed permanent artwork commissioned by the Jupiter Library Expansion committee for FAU. Composed of a very large conceptual clock, the artwork is site-specific and was designed for the MacArthur Campus Library's all-night study lounge. Miller explained, "When we are under stress, time seems malleable. When pulling an all-night study session, time seems short, but time is distorted by lack of sleep." This one-of-a-kind artwork was completed in time for an opening reception on June 20th.
